Opening of Building the Expo Milano 2015
Building the EXPO Milano 2015 is a resized exhibition highlighting the advances and achievements of international architecture and its uses of the latest materials used in creating the self-built and corporate pavilions of the Universal Exhibition.
The original exhibition took place in Milan (March 18-21, 2015) as part of MADE expo, a biennial event that is more than an ordinary trade show: it is a wellspring of educational and business opportunities and the go to place for cutting edge innovation in building materials, construction systems, windows, building envelope, finishes and surfaces. Building the EXPO documented the entire process from the creation of the idea to the realization of the 25 national pavilions and 6 corporate pavilions that are part of the EXPO Milano 2015, highlighting the construction elements and technologies applied to achieve the different effects needed. The exhibition was promoted by MADE expo – Milano Architettura Design Exhibition, curated by Professor Luisa Collina of the Politecnico di Milano, organized by POLI.design – Politecnico di Milano in collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency. It was endorsed by Expo Milano 2015.
